Summer Hill's employees are highly-trained, experienced and dedicated to the success of our business.
Patrick Cheney:
Director and Owner of Summer Hill
Patrick has his B.A. in Health and Physical Education. An experienced elementary school teacher, Patrick has taught both gifted and talented and remedial programs. Patrick has been a competitive swimming and soccer coach and, maintains his First Aid, CPR, AED, Lifeguard and Water Safety instructor certificates as well as his Red Cross Instructional Certificates. Patrick has been at Summer Hill since its inception, and ensures that the Summer Hill adheres to the high standards set forth by his family back in the early 1980s.
Lauren Cheney:
Assistant Director/Co-Owner of Summer Hill
Lauren has a B.S. degree in Special and Regular education. Lauren taught special education in the public school system until having children and taking over Summer hill. Lauren’s love for children and background in Special Education has been a wonderful resource for the Summer Hill Staff.
Peter Cheney:
Swim Instructor
Peter holds a B.S. in health and physical education and taught grades K-5 for more than 30 years in the Asbury Park Public Schools, before leaving to start Hope Academy Charter School in Asbury Park. Peter was Hope Academy’s founder/director for 10 years.
Marie DeLisa:
After Care Teacher
Marie holds a B.A. in elementary education and recently retired after 30 years of teaching in Highlands Public Schools. Marie has taught students in grades K-5, and is currently Summer Hill's after-care and classroom prep specialist.
Eric Glock-Molloy:
Aquatics and Technology Director
Eric holds a B.A. in education and an M.S. in educational leadership. He holds certifications as an information technology specialist, pool technician, New Jersey School teacher, supervisor, principal, and school administrator, as well as American Red Cross cerificates as a Lifeguard and Lifeguard manager and instructor certificates in First Aid, CPR, and Water Safety Instruction. Eric has previously held positions as a public school teacher and high school swim coach, he is currently employed as a public school administrator. Joining the Summer Hill team in 1993, Eric's diverse skill sets and experience have made him a valuable resource in training and mentoring new staff, maintaining a safe and effective aquatics program, and guiding Summer Hill's technology initiatives into the 21st century.
